Rya'c is a fictional character on the series Stargate SG-1 portrayed by Neil Dennis. Rya'c is the son of Teal'c and his wife Drey'auc. Rya'c and his mother suffered on Chulak after Teal'c betrayed Apophis and joined the Tau'ri. Drey'auc tried to protect their son and ensure he would undergo the Prim'tah ceremony and become a Jaffa. Teal'c did not want Rya'c to become a slave to the Goa'uld however, and returned to the planet hoping to stop the ceremony. He managed to put a stop to the ceremony but when his son fell severely ill, he was forced to give up his own symbiote to save Ryac's life.

A year after those events, Rya'c was taken by Apophis and brain washed into believing his father was a traitor to his god, Apophis. Rya'c deceived Teal'c and SG-1 and traveled with them to Earth with plans of wiping out the Tau'ri with a biological weapon implanted in two of his teeth. He was stopped before he could go through with his mission and was freed from Goa'uld mind control.

Rya'c went with his mother to the Land of Light and later a rebel affa settlement where Dreu'auc died after refusing to take a new symbiote when her symbiote matured. Rya'c blamed his father and his fight for Jaffa freedom for her death. Rya'c and Teal'c's rift eventually mended when Teal'c showed his faith in Rya'c's skill as a Jaffa warrior. Rya'c then participated in a plot to destroy a weapon Anubis used against Earth, thus saving the planet.

Rya'c continued to train as a warrior under Bra'tac's tutelage. The two were eventually taken prisoner and sent to work in a Jaffa death camp. Teal'c managed to overcome doubts about his own strength in order to free Rya'c and Bra'tac.

Rya'c later visited Earth with his fiancee Karyn, a Hak'tyl warrior, hoping to get his father's approval. Teal'c disapproved of the marriage however, believing Ryac to be too young for marriage, with so much life ahead of him. He eventually came around and Bra'tac over saw the marriage ceremony between Rya'c and Karyn.The couple joined the other Hak'tyl resistance on a new homeworld.
