Roy Thinnes (April 6, 1938 Chicago, Illinois - ) is an American actor.

He starred in the original version of The Invaders as architect David Vincent, who tried to convince a disbelieving world that the aliens were here.

After this first Sci Fi foray, he has a regular role as Roger Collins in the 1991 version of Dark Shadows, and had guest appearances on the iconic programs Battlestar Galactica and The X-Files (in several episodes as Jeremiah Smith).
