Rosemary's Baby is a 1968 horror film from director Roman Polanski. Mia Farrow stars as Rosemary Woodhouse and John Cassavetes as Rosemary's husband, Guy. Ruth Gordon plays their nosy neighbor and won an Academy Award for best supporting actress for the role. The film had one made for TV sequel in 1976 Look What's Happened to Rosemary's Baby.


Plot

Rosemary and husband Guy move into a New York apartment where Rosemary begins to experience strange occurrences. After a horrifying dream in which she's raped by a demon, she becomes mysteriously pregnant and experiences unusual cravings and adominal pains. She begins to suspect her neighbors belong to a Satanic cult with dark plans for her baby.
