Rose is the episode that launched the successful return of long-running program Doctor Who to British television screens after a hiatus of several years. It first aired in the UK as the debut of the program's 27th season on March 26, 2005.

The story was the first appearance of the Doctor's ninth incarnation, played by Christopher Eccleston.

Synopsis

Shopgirl Rose keeps running into a mysterious man who calls himself "the Doctor." Moreover, she has been having a number of frightening encounters with mannequins and other plastic objects that seem to move on their own. Are the two related?
