Roscoe Lee Brown

Roscoe Lee Brown (May 2, 1925 Woodbury, New Jersey - April 11, 2007) was an American actor and voice artist.

The Emmy-winning actor was known for his cultured voice. Mainstream audiences may know him from A Different World as Dr. Barnabus Foster, Saunders from Soap, or many guest appearances (including All in the Family, Barney Miller and Sanford and Son.

Genre fans know him as Box in the movie of Logan's Run.

It may be his voicework for which he'll be best remembered. He was the narrator for Babe (and its sequel, Babe: Pig in the City), Garfield: a Tale of Two Kitties, and Epic Movie.

He also did a great deal of character voicework (including Merklyn in Visionaries: Knights of the Mystical Table|Visionaries), which brought him into several Sci Fi universes.
