Robert De Niro <span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>  Robert Mario De Niro Jr. (b. August 17, 1943, New York City, New York) is an acclaimed Academy Award-winning American actor and producer. DeNiro is considered one of the greatest actors of his generation. He has been nominated six times for the Oscar award and won twice for his roles in The Godfather: Part II and Raging Bull. Though known mainly for his dramatic performances, De Niro has appeared in a few genre features. In 2007, he appeared with Michelle Pfeiffer in Stardust. Previous genre roles include Brazil and Arthur and the Invisibles.
