Robert Davi (b. June 26, 1954) is an American actor born in Astoria, Queens, New York to Maria and Sal Davi. Davi may be best known for his role as James Bond villain Franz Sanchez in License to Kill. He has also appeared as Special agent Johnson in the action feature Die Hard alongside Bruce Willis.
Davi is from an Italian-American family and grew up speaking Italian. He attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. Davi made his television debut in Contract on Cherry Street and also appeared on Charlie's Angels, The Incredible Hulk and the miniseries From Here to Eternity. Other notable appearances include The Powers of Matthew Star, T.J. Hooker, The A-Team, The Goonies as Jake Fratelli, Wiseguy, Predator 2, VR.5, Showgirls, Batman Beyond as Dr. Mike Morgan, The Pretender as Agent Bailey Malone, a role he also played on the series Profiler, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, The Hot Chick, and Stargate Atlantis as Acastus Kolya. He also lent his voice to the video games Halo 2, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Scarface: The World is Yours.
