Roar was a short-lived fantasy adventure series set in Ireland during the time of the Roman Empire. The series starred Heath Ledger, as Conor, a young man determined to unite the various, and often opposing Irish tribes in a fight to oust the Romans. The series was an American production filmed in Australia and was canceled after airing only eight of the thirteen filmed episodes. The remaining five episodes were later aired in syndication.
