Plot

D'Anna boards Galactica to negotiate with President Lee Adama to allow the four cylons in the fleet to make their own choice to join their Cylon brethren. The four look on during negotiations and are surprised and discomfited when Tory decides to join the Cylons under the pretense of bringing Laura Roslin her medication.

When the four do not immediately reveal themselves, D'Anna decides to execute her human hostages until they reveal themselves. The four hear music once again and Tyrol, Tigh and Anders are drawn to Starbuck's mysterious viper where they are certain something has changed.

Saul Tigh reveals himself to Adama as a Cylon and offers himself as a bargaining chip. If D'Anna continues to execute the humans on the basestar, Galactica will execute him. Lee convinces him to give up the other two on board and Tyrol and Anders are arrested while trying to convince Starbuck to take another look at her Viper. They are taken to the airlock where Lee threatens to blow them out the airlock unless the basestar stands down from its armed positions, with nukes trained on the vulnerable civilian fleet.

Starbuck goes over the viper once again and picks up a colonial signal. With time against her, she races toward the airlock to stop the execution of the three cylons. She is just in time and reveals that three have given them the way to Earth. The humans and Cylons agree to stand down aggression and find Earth together.

On board Galactica, the mood is jubilant when the fleet makes its final jump and arrives in Earth orbit. Celebration, prayer, and hope spreads throughout the fleet. However, when ships go down to investigate, they find disaster appears to have struck the planet. Radioactive readings are high and they find only ruins and disappointment.
