Resident Evil: Apocalypse is the 2004 sequel to the 2002 film Resident Evil based on the video game Resident Evil. Paul Anderson wrote and produced the film, which was directed by Alexander Witt. Apocalypse is the second in the trilogy and is followed by Resident Evil: Extinction released on September 21, 2007.
