Reflex is a sequel to Stephen Gould's popular novel Jumper.
Synopsis
Davy has been captured by a mysterious group who want to control him and his abilities for their own purposes. They have methods to prevent his escape and begin a regiment of brainwashing and conditioning.
Davy has a secret however, though he doesn't yet realize it. People who have been teleported, can, after experiencing it multiple times, learn the skill themselves. Davy's wife Millie, is the only other person on Earth who has teleported as often as he has. She discovers her ability much like he did, under the threat of imminent death. If she can learn to control it, she may be able to rescue Davy.
