Red Sky is episode 5 of Stargate SG-1 Season 5.

Summary

Carter bypasses several dialing protocols in order to make a connection to a planet they come to know as K'Tau. In the process, they transfer a heavy element into the planet's son causing a shift in its spectrum that will eventually doom all life on the planet unless they can convince the Asgard who protect the planet to intervene.
