Rebecca Gayheart (b. August 12, 1971) is an American actress born in Hazard, Kentucky and raised in Pinetop. Gayheart may be known to genre fans for her roles in the series Earth 2 and Dead Like Me.
Gayheart moved to New York City at 15 to study at the Professional Children's School and the Lee Stasberg Theatre Institute. Early television appearances include ads for Noxzema. She landed her first noteworthy role on the soap opera, Loving and later appeared in the Vanishing Son action series.
Other notable roles include a recurring role on Beverly Hills 90210, the short-lived series Firefly, and guest appearances on Sliders, Wasteland, The Division, Nip/Tuck Medium, Ugly Betty and CSI: Miami. She has also appeared in Robin Cook's Invasion, Scream 2, Urban Legend, Jawbreaker, From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter, and Santa's Sleigh.
