Raymond Burr (May 21, 1917 New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada - September 12, 1993) was a Canadian actor.
He will forever be known to mainstream audience as Perry Mason (and, to a lesser degree, Ironside).
Sci Fi audiences probably first associate him with Godzilla. To make the movie more appealing to an American (and, presumably, Canadian) audience, scenes with Burr were inserted into this Japanese production.
Less well-known are his other genre appearances, including Curt Siodmak's Bride of the Gorilla and Tarzan and the She-Devil.
