Ray Danton (b. September 19, 1931 New York City, New York – February 11, 1992) ia an American actor and director who also found work in Europe. Danton was born in New York and studied drama at Carnegie Tech. He made his film debut as a Native American om Chief Crazy Horse and guest starred on several shows in the 1950s, including Wagon Train,(1957) 77 Sunset Strip(1958) and Power House 90 (1956).
Known for playing shady, slick characters, he also had minor roles in several films including 1957's The Night Runner, and The Beat Generation (1959) in which he played a serial rapist. Danton traveled to Europe where he appeared in several film in the 1960s in Italy and Spain. He returned to the United States in the 70s and appeared in several low-budget films. He also took a turn at directing with the 1972 film Deathmaster. He followed up directing episodes of The Incredible Hulk, Tales of the Unexpected, Tall Tales and Legends. Fame and Magnum P.I.
Danton passed away in 1992 from kidney failure.
