Raul Julia (March 9, 1940 – October 24, 1994) Puerto Rican actor who became a Hollywood star in such films as The Eyes of Laura Mars (1978), Frankenstein Unbound (1990) and Street Fighter (1994). He proved a worthy successor to John Astin playing an energetic Gomez Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and The Addams Family Values (1993) before his untimely death after suffering a stroke.
