Ramsey Campbell (January 4, 1946 – )is described by The Oxford Companion to English Literature as "Britain's most respected living horror writer." He has been named Grand Master by the World Horror Convention and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Horror Writers Association. Campbell's most recent novels include Secret Stories and The Overnight, while a new edition of his Arkham House collection The Height of the Scream was recently reissued by Babbage Press.
