Queen Victoria reigned over the British Empire (from May 1, 1876, until her death on January 22, 1901).

Trivia

The character of Queen Victoria appeared in the Doctor Who episode "Tooth and Claw". In the episode, it is intimated that she may have passed on the werewolf trait to her descendants. She also is stated to be the founder of the Torchwood Institute.
