Qetesh

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

In Egyptian mythology and Canaanite religion, Qetesh is known as the Goddess of Love and Beauty. She may have been a Semitic deity within Canaanite religion who was later adopted by Egyptians. Qetesh may have been wife to the god Reshpeh, who is, in turn, associated with Nergal of Chaldean myth. Qetesh, associated with sex and fertility, is said to be the mother of Min the god of fertility and sexual prowess, similar to Hathor, the goddess of pleasure. Qetesh may also be connected to Asherah. She is often depicted nude, standing on a lion with a crescent moon on her head.
