Pushing Daisies is an ABC drama series created by Bryan Fuller (Dead Like Me). The series centers on Ned (Lee Pace), a man who, as a child learned that his touch can bring the dead back to life. A second touch from him however, returns them to death, forever. But if he does not touch them again, however, someone else dies. Years later, Ned's amazing ability is witnessed by private investigator Emerson Cobb (Chi McBride) who proposes a partnership. Ned will use his abilities to touch murder victims, ask who killed them and return them to death and then collect on the reward for information. In the series' pilot, Ned's childhood friend, Charlotte Charles, is murdered and he brings her back to life but doesn't return her to death. The two have a romantic connection but cannot touch as a second touch will kill her. The series' pilot is directed by Barry Sonnenfeld
