Proclarush Taonas means “lost in fire” in Ancient language. Proclarush is a planet in the Milky Way where the Ancients once had an outpost. The outpost is similar to the Atlantus Outpost in Antarctica.

Discovery

Daniel Jackson learned about Proclarush Taonas from Jack O'Neill Jack when he downloaded the contents of the Ancient Repository of Knowledge in “Lost City, Part 1. Jack wrote down the words Proclarush Taonas in a crossword puzzle. For the clue sphere Jack wrote Taonas and for the clue label Jack wrote Proclarush. Daniel then connected sphere to planet and label to name.

Later, Daniel translated Proclarush Taonas to mean “lost to fire”. Samantha Carter pointed out that even with the name they still needed the gate address in order to go to the planet. All of a sudden Jack ripped off the SGC Logo of the Point of Origin and says "At". Daniel figured out that the Stargate symbols were not only constellations, but also sounds. Each syllable of the word Proclarush Taonas represented a gate symbol, forming the address. When Jack matched a sound to the gate symbols, they got the address and Carter realized that they had tried to dial it two years ago, but could not get a lock.

Daniel said that the Stargate was most likely buried. They managed to travel to the planet by cargo ship and found that the gate, and much of the planet was indeed buried in molten lava. They found a "bubble" on the surface which appeared to have been shaped by lava which had cooled down over a forcefield dome. They beamed into the bubble and they found that they were in an outpost of some kind. Jack found a chair and made the environment breathable.

Jack brought up a map of the Milky Way and then zoomed in on Earth and declared "Terra Atlantis" meaning Earth Atlantis while pointing at Antarctica. Jack than removed the outpost's ZPM and returned to earth in the cargo ship, exiting hyperspace directly above Antarctica. Jack used the ring transporters to melt a hole in the ice and beneath nearly a mile of ice, they discovered another outpost similar to Proclarush Taonas. The Taonas ZPM was used to power the Atlantus outpost's control chair and the drones were use to destroy Anubis' fleet. They also discovered clues to the location of Atlantis which proved further away than they imagined in the Pegasus Galaxy.
