Plot

Following the suicide bombing of the New Caprica Police graduation, the Cylons order the arrest of hundreds of suspected insurgents. Tyrol, Anders, and Tigh miss the roundup however, as they are busy contacting Galactica in their secret location. Tyrol returns to his tent to find his son abandoned and his wife arrested. When another suicide bomber blows up a power substation, the Cylons force Baltar to sign a death warrant for two hundred suspected insurgents including Laura Roslin, Tom Zarek, and Cally Tyrol.

Leoben introduces Kara to a little girl, Kacey, as their child. He claims the toddler was created from her ovaries. Kara refuses to speak to or accept the child until she has an accident and hits her head. Kara immediately rushes to her aid, pleasing Leoben with her maternal concern. Kacey's recovery from her head injury seems to be in doubt but she later wakes up and Kara is overjoyed and takes Leoben's hand.

On Galactica, Sharon Agathon is sworn in as a Colonial officer and Adama sends her to New Caprica to meet with the resistance. Lee disagrees with his choice but his opposition goes unacknowledged. He later tries to convince his father that risking the lives of those who jumped with them to save those on New Caprica is a bad choice but Adama tells him to stay with Pegasus and he will rescue the New Capricans with Galactica.

Ellen Tigh meets with Cavil again and he threatens her husband with more imprisonment and torture unless she can provide them with information on the insurgency. Later, Tigh and Tyrol arrange to rendezvous with Sharon at Breeders Canyon. Ellen overhears their planning and passes the information to the cylons in exchange for her husband's continued safety.

The suspected insurgents are taken by truck to a remote location where there allowed to stretch their legs. A masked Jammer, feeling guilty for his part, cuts Cally's bonds and tells her to run. She does and manages to get away unnoticed. Centurions appear and prepare to execute the prisoners.

Sharon and Anders' team meet in the forest but before they can do anything they are attacked by Centurions and one of the men is killed.
