Plan 9 from Outer Space is a 1956 scifi horror film written and directed by Edward D. Wood Jr. It is often referred to as the "worst movie ever made". Thanks to his work on Plan 9, Wood won a posthumous Golden Turkey Award for worst director ever. The film opened in July, 1959. A color version was released in San Francisco theaters on March 11, 2006.

Plot

Aliens animate an army of zombies and vampires from human corpses to stop mankind from creating a sun-powered bomb. An airline pilot must rescue his wife from the walking dead.
