Piranha is a 2009 remake of Joe Dante's 1978 horror film of the same name. A previous adaptation, from Roger Corman was released in 1995. The movie is filmed using 3D technology and is expected to include significant gore.

Premise

A tremor under Arizona's Lake Havasu, results in the release of prehistoric Piranhas that terrorize the community.
