Phantom Girl is a fictional super-hero character who is a member of the 31st century superhero team, The Legion of Super-Heroes and owned by DC Comics.

Bgtzl is a planet that exists in a different dimensional plane than the rest of the United Planets. Bgtzl's ties to the United Planets are very limited, and to Tinya it seemed like a place of wonders. She ran away from her restrictive girl's school and stowed away on a trade ship to reach Earth. She got the Legion's attention by entering their headquarters and getting past all their security devices. The Legionnaires accepted her for membership, and made her part of the Legion Espionage Squad. The Squad handles cases that require espionage skills.

In one incarnation if the character, her mother is Winema Wazzo, Bgtzlian ambassador to the United Planets. She is romantically linked to fellow Legionnaire Ultra Boy.

In a new incarnation of the character, Bgtzl exists in a "Buffer Zone" that takes up the same space as Earth. Here, her ability is to be in both worlds at once, making her seem like a phantom.

Phantom Girl has been linked romantically to fellow Legionnaire Ultra Boy.
