Pet Sematary is a 1989 horror film based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. The film had one sequel, Pet Sematary II.

Synopsis

The Creed family moves to a new home in the country. The only drawbacks to their new home are the large, noisy speeding trailers that drive by often and an eerie cemetery in the woods behind their home. When their young sun is killed in a trailer accident, his father, Louis (Dale Midkiff) learns that burying someone in the cemetery can bring them back to life. He buries his son in the cemetery and proves the legends true. But what he has brought back is not the son he buried and he must find a way to stop him before he murders everyone in the town.
