Patrick Lussier is a film editor, director, and screenwriter known for his work in horror films. Lussier has worked in several departments of filmmaking. He started out as an assistant editor on 21 Jump Street and The Hitchhiker before expanding his skills into directing, writing and consulting. He also served as a production manager on the Canadian series The Odyssey. As an editor he has worked on McGyver, Highlander: The Series, Nightmare Cafe, and the films New Nightmare, Vampire in Brooklyn, Doctor Who: The TV Movie, Scream, Mimic, Scream 2, Halloween H20, Dracula 2000, Cursed, Red Eye and White Noise 2: The Light.
Lussier made his directorial debut with the horror film The Prophecy 3: The Ascent. He continued in the same genre for his followup films, Dracula 2000, Dracula II: Ascension, Dracula III: Legacy and White Noise 2: The Light. Condition Dead, a zombie horror feature, is slated for a 2008 release.
