Paris, je t'aime is an anthology movie, a collection of shorts each representing a different area of Paris, each directed by different directors, and each having to do in some way with love.

The movie is deliberately heterogenous, with different styles.

Spoiler Warning: Plot details and/or information about the ending follow. If you wish to enjoy the work first, stop reading here and return at another time.

One segment is unabashedly Sci Fi, with a vampire being a crucial character to the plot. Probably surprisingly to some, that is not Wes Craven's segment. However, it is directed by Canadian director Vincenzo Natali, who has several genre credits. Reportedly, and perhaps as a bit of an in-joke, Wes Craven does "play" a body. Elijah Wood stars in this segment, opposite Olga Kurylenko.
