Padmé Naberrie Amidala, a character in the Star Wars universe, played by Natalie Portman. She was born on the planet Naboo, and at an early age she pursued a life of greater good through politics. She was soon elected Queen of Naboo.

Her planet was blockaded by The Trade Federation, and soon after invaded by their mighty Techno-Union Army. Amidala escaped with the aid of two Jedi Knights, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

She has held the postions of Queen and Senator
