P3X-888

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

On the series Stargate SG-1, P3X-888 is a planet believed to be the origin of the goa'uld and the Unas. The goa'uld still thrive in the waters of planet and made their first leap into humanoid hosts by taking over the primitive Unas bodies. Unas tribes still live on the planet and have taken measures to defend themselves against invasion by wearing the bones of their enemy around their necks.

The planet was visited by humans from Earth for the first time in the episode "The First Ones". In the episode, Daniel Jackson was taken prisoner by an Unas. The planet was later visited by another set of humans in "Beast of Burden" who kidnapped Unas to be used as slave labor on their homeworld.
