Oz Scott (b. September 16, 1949 in Hampton, Virginia) is an American director. Scott began directing television in the mid 70s with the sitcoms The Jeffersons and Archie Bunker's Place. He made his genre directorial debut with the TV movie Mr. Boogedy and followed it up with the sequel Bride of Boogedy. Scott has worked on several notable television series such as Scarecrow and Mrs. King, The Cosby Show,
L.A. Law, The Practice, and Ally McBeal. His genre credits include American Gothic, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Timecop, The 4400, Threshold, and Medium
