Osiris is a fictional character on the series Stargate SG-1 portrayed by Anna-Louise Plowman. Osiris is a Goa'uld who reigned on Earth several centuries ago as the first Pharoh of Egypt. Osiris and Isis were "Banished to Oblivion" by the System Lord Seth and abandoned in stasis on Earth in Egypt for four thousand years. His mate, Isis was killed when the seal on her stasis jar was broken. Osiris was unwittingly released by archaeologist Sarah Gardner and the symbiote took control of her body and escaped Earth in a Goa’uld ship hidden in Egypt ("The Curse"). Out of the loop for centuries and without an army of his own, Osiris became a servant of Anubis.

Osiris was sent by Zipacna to represent Anubis' interests at the goa'uld Summit in the episode "Summit", requesting a vote for his return to the rank of System Lord. At the meeting, she discovered Daniel Jackson's presence and went to Yu’s chamber to confront him. Daniel however he used the Reole chemical and convinced her he was Yu's servant, Jarrin.

Osiris told Yu that if he voted in favor of Anubis, that Anubis would destroy Earth. She stabbed Yu when she believed he was going to double-cross the rest of the System Lords ("Last Stand"). The vote went in Anubis' favor.

In her work for Anubis, She destroyed Thor's ship and located Heimdall’s lab. After capturing the lab, she also momentarily captured Major Samantha Carter, who informed her that Daniel had died ("[[Revelations (Stargate SG-1 episode)|Revelations). She later visited Earth in secret hoping to discover what Daniel Jackson knew about the location of the "lost city". Using beaming technology stolen from the Asgard, she beamed into his home and used Goa'uld memory retrieval technology to invade his dreams, and seek for the knowledge by pretending to be Sarah at some time in Daniel's past. Her attempt was a failure and she was discovered and apprehended by SG-1 (Chimera).

Osiris was removed from Sarah's body by the Tok'ra. The status of both are unknown though it seems likely Sarah returned to Earth. Whether Osiris survived is unknown.
