Onslow Stevens

Onslow Ford Stevens (March 29, 1902January 5, 1977) was an American stage actor who occasionally appeared in films, including The Secret of the Blue Room (1933), The Vanishing Shadow (1934), Life Returns (1935), The Monster and the Girl (1941), Angel on My Shoulder (1946), The Night Has a Thousand Eyes (1948), The Creeper (1948), Mark of the Gorilla (1950) and Them! (1954). His most notable role is that of the vampiric Dr. Franz Edelmann, infected with the Count’s blood in House of Dracula (1945). He died, a victim of institutional abuse, at a nursing home where he was convalescing from a heart ailment.
