Olan Soule

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Olan Soule (February 28, 1909 La Harpe, Illinois - February 1, 1994) was an American actor and voice artist.

On screen, his appearance lent itself to playing less physical types: doctors; salesmen; telegraphers (on more than one series); and clerks (hotel, flower, bookstore, desk, DMV, and more). As a voice artist (both on radio and TV, though, he could play much tougher, more rugged, characters.

This contrast was clear in his two roles on Captain Midnight. On radio, he was Agent Kelly of the Secret Squadron. On television, he was scientist Aristotle "Tut" Jones.

He is probably best known to genre fans as the voice of Batman on Super Friends. However, his reliable nature as a character actor saw him having roles on One Step Beyond, The Twilight Zone, Mr. Ed, My Living Doll, The Addams Family, My Favorite Martian, The Munsters, Bewitched, The Six Million Dollar Man, Battlestar Galactica, Fantasy Island, and more.

He even appeared on the Adam West Batman TV series as a newscaster.
