Oceanic Flight 815 is a fictional flight on the series Lost. The Boeing 777 departed from Sydney, Australia on September 22, 2004 for Los Angeles with 324 passengers. Six hours into the flight, the pilots experienced problems with the radio and made a course change heading towards Fiji. The plane began to experience extreme turbulence and broke up in three parts in midair. The tail section of the craft landed in the ocean while the front and midsection landed on a nearby island. Seventy-one people survived the crash.
