History

Six is the first humanoid Cylon model seen in the series. Six' work seducing Gaius Baltar and gaining access to the Colonial defense mainframe through him eased the destruction of the colonies and the ensuing Cylon invasion. The Number Six model, working with Gaius was killed in the nuclear attack on Caprica City and saved Baltar's life in the process.

Six has a certain amount of sympathy for humans having lived and worked among them. Her sympathies have not interfered with her job however. On Caprica, in concert with Number Eight (Sharon Valerii) and Number Three (Aaron Doral), she coordinated a plan to ensure that Helo fell in love with the number eight model he believed to be Boomer. This six was only one of several on the planet. Kara Thrace battled with and killed one in the Delphi Museum. Another was seen at "The Farm" relaying orders to the Cylon Simon who operated on Kara. This copy was also disabled by Kara during her escape.

Baltar's Hallucination

Following the attack on Caprica, Baltar has experienced a powerful hallucination of Six that guides him. It's unclear whether she is real or merely a product of Baltar's mind though she offers significant insight into Cylon ways and has knowledge Baltar would have no way of knowing. Scans showed no foreign objects such as computer chips in Baltar's body to account for her presence. Six describes herself as an angel of God sent to love, guide and protect him. She reveals that God has a purpose for him, together they are to create the next generation of God's children.

Caprica Six

Caprica Six is the Cylon model who worked on Caprica for two years and seduced Gaius Baltar. She was downloaded into a new body following her death on Caprica and hailed as a hero by the other Cylons for her work. Like Baltar, since the event, she has experienced a hallucination of Gaius much like the one he has had of her. Like the six in Baltar's head, the Baltar in Caprica Six' head has a different personality than the real person. The Baltar in her head is more confident and sound of mind. He confronts her with the morality of her acts of genocide against humanity.

The issues Baltar brought up forced her to question the Cylon's goals and led her to join with the newly downloaded Boomer in leading the Cylons in a new direction that culminated with their invasion and occupation of New Caprica. Whether the Baltar in Caprica's head is more than a projection of her guilt combined with the Cylon ability to project, remains to be seen.

Gina Inviere

Another Six model, Gina, was discovered posing as a systems analyst on board the Battlestar Pegasus. Prior to her discovery as a Cylon, She was involved in a relationship with Admiral Helena Cain. The two attempted to keep their relationship discreet but their close connection was evident to officer Kendra Shaw. Believing Gina had the admiral's trust, Shaw gave her use of her access codes.

Gina was exposed by Shaw after she witnessed another Number Six copy during a Cylon attack. Gina was instrumental in the same attack in aiding Cylon centurions in gaining access to Pegasus. She was captured but killed two soldiers before they gained the upper hand. She was imprisoned, raped, and abused by the Pegasus officers under orders by Cain (Battlestar Galactica: Razor).

She met Gaius Baltar when he was ordered to see to her condition for the sole purpose of gaining more information from her. Though the Six copy in Baltar's mind initially expressed sympathy for this variation of her model she became jealous when it seemed Baltar was falling for Gina.

Gina begged Baltar to kill her but he reminded her that she would be downloaded into a new body. Her desperate desire to die led her to inform him about the existence of a Resurrection Ship where the consciousness of the Cylons are stored for download. Should the ship be destroyed, she would truly die. This information led to the ship's destruction and Gina again requested that Baltar kill her, unable to do it herself as it is a sin against the Cylon god. He encouraged her to live and helped her escape the brig. Immediately following her escape, she shot and killed Admiral Helena Cain.

Gina disappeared within the fleet but later reappeared posing as a leader in the Cylon peace movement. She convinced Baltar that he should run for the presidency against Laura Roslin. Gina was later given a nuclear warhead originally slated for use in his Cylon detector. After overcoming her aversion to intimacy following her abuse, she shared an intimate moment with Baltar who'd just been elected president. After he left her, she detonated the warhead, destroying Cloud Nine and several nearby ships.

Shelly Godfrey

A Number Six copy adopted the identity of Shelly Godfrey. She visited Galactica with the goal of exposing Gaius Baltar as a traitor. She claimed to have surveillance footage showing Baltar was responsible for the destruction of the defense mainframe on Caprica.

Godfrey claimed to have had a relationship with Dr. Amarak, an associate of Baltar's who contacted the president about information regarding a traitor. Baltar feared that information would expose him but Amarak was believed to have been killed when Adama ordered the destruction of the Olympic Carrier on which Amarak traveled, believing it had been overtaken by the Cylons.

Godfrey's evidence initially appears authentic but Felix Gaeta later determined the footage was faked. Gaeta comes to believe Godfrey wanted the footage to be discovered as inauthentic. Essentially, Godfrey sought not to undermine Gaius' position but establish his credibility. Gaius was vindicated and Shelly disappeared, escaping the marines assigned to keep track of her.

Natalie

Natalie first appeared in season 4. When the Raiders identified the final five cylons as being part of the human fleet, they backed off forcing the cylons to make a decision about how to continue. Cavil and other models chose to lobotomize the raiders in order to force them to continue attacking the fleet. Natalie and the Number eight models (excepting Boomer) voted against this decision but were outnumbered.

Natalie was unwilling to accept the outcome of the vote and removed the mechanism that forced the Centurions and raiders to be subservient and without free will. This allowed them to attack their fellow Cylons.

Other Copies

Several Number Six copies operated as overseers on New Caprica. Several were killed by the resistance. The Cylons took a vote to establish stronger measures against the resistance which now included suicide bombers. The only dissenter was Caprica Six. She was overruled by others of her model.
