Nora Roberts (b. Eleanor Marie Robertson October 10, 1950, Silver Spring, Maryland) is a bestselling American author known for her romance novels. Roberts also writes romantic suspense, paranormal romance and other works under the names J. D. Robb, Sarah Hardesty and Jill March.
