Nicholas Meyer

Nicholas Meyer (b. December 24, 1945, New York City, New York) is an American screenwriter and director]] best known as the director and writer of the films Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and a writer on Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.

Meyer made his feature film debut writing the 1973 screenplay Invasion of the Bee Girls and in 1979, his feature directorial debut with the time travel romance Time After Time. His other notable genre work includes the 1983 Emmy award-winning TV movie The Day After, The Night That Panicked America, and The Prince of Egypt,. He has contributed to such notable non-genre work as Sommersby, and The Human Stain.
