Nicholas Lea was born on June 22, 1962 in British Columbia. He is perhaps best know for his role as Alex Krycek on The X-Files.
Biography
Nicholas Lea's first major role was on the TV Series, The Commish which ended in 1994 after five seasons. Also in 1994, he made his first appearance on The X-Files in the episode "Genderbender". The Producers thought that he was good and they cast him as Alek Krycek a recurring villain. The fans loved him so much that he starred in 11 episodes between the first and third season. In the season 3 episode "Apocrypha" Krycek was left to die. He later returned, however, and remained on the cast as a recurring character untill the series ended.
Lea has starred in short-lived shows like Once a Thief and Drive and guest starred on episodes of Andromeda, The Outer Limits, Sliders, Highlander, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He has also appeared in the films Vertical Limit, Ignition with Bill Pullman, Deadly Isolation and Chaos.
Lea's most recent appearances have been on the series Kyle XY and Whistler. On Kyle XY he plays Tom Foss and on Whistler he plays Ethan McKaye. Upcoming projects include American Venus, Vice and Butterfly on a Wheel.
