Nibbler is a fictional character on the animated series Futurama. His name is courtesy of his ability to devour animals larger than himself. His true name is unpronounceable. He was discovered by Leela on the planet Vergon and she took him as her pet. Though he appears to be an unassuming non sentient creature, he is actually of superior intelligence and is referred to as Lord Nibbler by his people.
