Neutronium

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Neutronium is a fictional material of incredible density composed entirely of neutrons. The term first appeared in science fiction in 1931 in Jack Williamson's The Stone from the Green Star. The term has since appeared in several popular SF productions.

In the Star Trek universe, neutronium is the material of which neutron stars are composed, and the Enterprise encountered a lifeform composed entirely of neturonium. Neutronium has also been used as a building material for Dyson spheres and interstellar vessels.

In the Stargate universe, neutronium is a naturally occurring material found on planets and is a key component in building human-form Replicators.
