Netherlands is a European country within the Kingdom of Netherlands which also includes Aruba and Netherlands Antilles. The Netherlands are often referred to, somewhat imprecisely, as Holland which comprises two of the country's most well known provinces, North Holland, and South Holland. The Netherlands is well known for its liberality regarding sex, marriage, abortion and prostitution.

Well known Dutch individuals naturally include the painters Vincent Van Gogh and Rembrandt but also includes actresses Famke Janssen and Audrey Hepburn, and directors Paul Verhoeven and Rutger Hauer.
