The Nebula Award has been bestowed annually since 1965 by members of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) to acknowledge excellence in science fiction writing. Awards are currently given out in five categories: novels, novellas, novelettes, short stories, and scripts.
The award itself is a transparent block with an embedded glitter spiral nebula. Nebula Awards is a registered trademark of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
