Naren Shankar is an Emmy Award-nominated screenwriter and producer. Shankar's television work began in the early 90s as a writer and science consultant on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Shankar later worked on several other genre series including Star Trek: Voyager, seaQuest DSV, The Outer Limits, Farscape, The Chronicle, and Night Visions. Shankar also worked on the films Star Trek: Generations and Shadow Realm.
