Mysteries, Magic, & Miracles

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Mysteries, Magic, & Miracles was a TV series that featured stories of documented mysteries and unexplained phenomena from around the world. The series was originally created as a half-hour documentary show for The Sci Fi Channel, and was hosted by Patrick MacNee (The Avengers, Night Man). The series' motto began, "From the boundaries of the universe to the depth of your soul . . ." Witnesses and experts were interviewed about various mysteries. Topics included various paranormal phenomena, such as ghosts, psychics, UFOs, aliens, and creatures. Other subjects included religious miracles, natural disasters, the origins of the universe, and various concepts of magic. New Age beliefs, such as crystal healing and astral projection, were also explored. The show was shot on location around the world.

Some information about the series is unclear. Air dates for The Sci Fi Channel are listed as October 1994 to 1996. A different listing states that the show aired until 1998. It is possible that the series was aired in syndication from 1996 to 1998. It remains unclear if the last two years of the series consisted of new episodes or repeats.

The first season of the series is available on DVD. There were also various VHS tapes of compilations from the show.

It seems that the ghost footage from the series was used to make another series, Patrick MacNee's Ghost Stories. Details on that series are sketchy, but it has aired on The Sci Fi Channel. It is unclear if the show was a weekly series or a series of specials. The original air dates are unknown. Repeats are still aired on the Channel from time to time. This series is also available on DVD in at least two different collections, one of which is called Real Ghost Stories.
