Mutant Enemy is a production company started by Joss Whedon in 1997. The company operated on the 20th Century Fox Lot and was responsible for the production of the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, it's spinoff series Angel and the short-lived Sci Fi western, Firefly. The company shut down following the end of Angel.
