Noah Bennet, occasionally referred to as HRG (horn-rimmed glasses) by fans and in the pilot script, is a character on the NBC series, Heroes played by Jack Coleman. For the series' first season, his name remained a mystery and writers teased fans in the episode "Distractions" almost revealing the name but holding back. They finally revealed his name to be Noah in the season one finale.

Mr. Bennet is the father of Claire Bennet and Lyle Bennet and husband to Sandra Bennet.

Spoiler Warning: Plot details and/or information about the ending follow. If you wish to enjoy the work first, stop reading here and return at another time.

He appears to be an unassuming man, working at the Primatech Paper factory in Odessa, Texas. That image is merely a facade, however. Mr. Bennet works for an unspecified organization, using the paper factory as a cover, that tracks people with special abilities.

Mr. Bennet followed the work of Dr. Chandra Suresh and visited India, where he searched his apartment and ran in to Suresh's son, Mohinder Suresh. He also visited Mohinder in New York seeking his help in finding people with special abilities.

Mr. Bennet works with an associate known only as The Haitian. Together, they have kidnapped several individuals, albeit temporarily, including Theodore Sprague, Matt Parkman and Isaac Mendez. He also had another associate, Eden McCain, whom he rescued from a life of crime. The two used their abilities to aid Bennet in his work. The Haitian has erased the memories of Bennet's wife and son several times as well as those he has kidnapped.

Eden McCain, who had mind control abilities, spied on Mohinder Suresh in New York and on Mr. Bennet's orders, used her talents to force Isaac Mendez to take the heroin that enabled him to paint the future, in order to save Claire from the serial killer, Sylar. Eden was later killed by Sylar.

Mr. Bennet has also been connected to Hana Gitelman in the NBC online graphic novels. In the Novels Hannah is recruited by Mr. Bennet, believing she was a part of the C.I.A. After discovering she had the ability to read and send electronic messages with her mind, she was sent on her first mission and later discovered that neither she nor Mr. Bennet worked for the CIA.
