Monica Julieta Reyes is a leading character on the TV series The X-Files, played by actress Annabeth Gish.

Biography

In 1990, Reyes enrolled in the FBI at Quantico. Her first assignment in the FBI was serving on a special task force that investigated Satanic rituals. Reyes was then transferred to the New York City field office. While in New York, she was assigned to investigate the disappearence and murder of Luke Doggett, John Doggetts's son. Later she was transferred to the New Orleans office until John Doggett asked her to join The X-Files. It is belived that she and John Doggett have started a realationship outside of work.

Beliefs

Monica Reyes is a highly spiritual person, and has little doubt about the paranormal. She is not as open minded about it as Mulder, but she is willing to accept explanations involving the paranormal, unlike John Doggett.
