Mission: Impossible is a 1996 film based on the 1966 television series of the same name. Tom Cruise starred as Ethan Hunt an American agent suspect of disloyalty and on a mission to expose the true spy and uncover those responsible for the death of his team. Paul Hitchcock served as executive producer while Cruise and partner Paula Wagner also received producer credits. The film was a box office hit and spawned two sequels Mission: Impossible II and Mission: Impossible III.
