Misfits of Science is an NBC television series created by James D. Parriott and Tim Kring. The series began airing in October, 1985 but proved short lived, airing only fifteen episodes before coming to an end in February 1986.

The series was about several individuals with superpowers and their various adventures.

A pre-Friends Courtney Cox played a telekinetic teen on probation. Kevin Peter Hall, who would go on to play The Predator and Bigfoot (in Harry and the Hendersons) played a scientist who was unhappy being unusually tall. He developed an experimental hormonal treatment to temporarily reduce his height, but unfortunately, it reduced it to 7 inches. Another character was a rock star who had been electrocuted, gaining the power to emit energy blasts.
